For us, skincare follows the same principles we hold for food: simple, minimally processed, nutrient-rich, and local whenever possible.

 

Why Tallow
Choosing tallow for skincare is a natural extension of that philosophy. It’s a whole, nutrient-dense fat that closely resembles the oil our skin naturally produces, allowing it to absorb easily and replenish the skin’s natural barrier. 

Tallow is also rich in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K, along with nourishing fatty acids like conjugated linoleic acid —  known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits. 

Most moisturizers use synthetic ingredients and only cover dryness. Tallow is different. It doesn’t just sit on the surface: it absorbs deeply and strengthens the skin barrier, making your skin feel protected, soft, and deeply hydrated. 

 

Our Process
Our tallow comes from pasture-raised cattle on beautiful Vancouver Island. 

We dry-render it slowly in small batches to preserve its purity and nutrients, then add organic botanical oils and therapeutic grade essential oils. The result is a clean, high-quality product, with no additives, no fillers, and nothing synthetic.
